To post on TenantTruth you create an account and verify your email address. That step alone removes a huge volume of throwaway spam and drive-by ratings that plague open comment sections.
We ask tenants to review letting agents they have genuinely used. Our terms prohibit fake reviews and agent self-promotion posing as renters. Repeated abuse can lead to account suspension.
We do not visit every property to check every story — no consumer platform can. What we offer is structured, consistent categories (deposit handling, response time, transparency, and more) so comparisons are meaningful, plus a public record tied to verified accounts.
